There are many options for your websites postage and packing ranging from being free to creating custom zones or postage codes.

Postage & Packing Options

Flat Rate

The flat rate option is a simple flat postage rate for all your orders e.g. £5. This would apply to small or large orders anywhere around the world.

Percentage

If you want to charge a postage rate of 5% of the total order, you would put 5 in the % input box. You will then need to add a base postage charge. If the 5% is lower than the base postage charge, Tradingeye will charge the base postage charge to the customer.

Per Item

If your first item charge is £5.00 with each additional item set to £1.00, your customer if they purchase three items would be charged £7.00 (£5.00 + £1.00 + £1.00)

Postage Codes

Setting postage codes will enable you to specify a postage cost for each product ordered. If a postage code '1' has a value of £1.50, each product that has a Postage code of '1' will be charged a £1.50 postage charge.

Postal Range

Postage ranges enable you to set price ranges for postage charges. If you set a range from £10 to £20 that has a rate of £14, if you customer spends £30, they would be charged £14 postage. If you want to set your final range to unlimited, then just put 0 in the last range field.

No Postage

All orders will have Free postage.

International Postage

This section enables you to create postage zone by country which include a weight range. Zone 1 could be for UK orders while 2 for the EU and Zone 3 for the rest of world. This feature also enables the postage estimates section which appears in the shopping cart so your customers can estimate their charges before proceeding to place an order.

Postage by Weight

The Postage By Weight value is multiplied by the Item Weight of a product in order to calculate the shipping value

Special Rates

Setting special postage rates enable you to offer different postage charges to your customers which they can select from a list when checking out. For example you could set a base charge of £5 for all orders, but then give your customer the possibility of choosing 1st class or an express postage option. Each rate also has a charge for the first item, and then each additional item.

Special Rates with Other Option

Simply select this option if you want to use Special rates with another postage method.
